Councilman Stephen Yellin is a lifelong resident who has worked to give residents a voice in our town’s future. He helped save the Emerson Lane/Free Acres neighborhood from overdevelopment, is a recycling and environmental sustainability advocate, and is always seeking out ways to improve our town. He works in the Finance Department for Union County; previously, he worked as the Individual Giving Manager for United Way of Greater Union County, which supports thousands of Union County children and families every year. Councilman Yellin also has experience researching, applying for and obtaining grants, building community relations, and served as the Secretary of the New Jersey Employee Charitable Campaign Steering Committee, encouraging New Jersey residents to donate to organizations like the United Way. He serves on the Communications Committee and the Memorial Park Renewal Committee.
