Special Offers for the Holidays
TAPinto Berkeley Heights and Buy Local NJ checked in with our local businesses to spread some Holiday Cheer! They joined forces to create this awesome Berkeley Heights Holiday Video from their participating businesses and hear what these businesses love about Berkeley Heights and how long they have been in business. They also have some holiday offers for you.
The Berkeley Heights Business and Civic in partnership with TAPinto Berkeley Heights launched a strategy for making customers feel safer as they venture out to Berkeley Heights businesses during the COVID pandemic.
The Berkeley Heights Cares campaign provides business owners the opportunity to show they agree to stick with the latest health guidelines. Those include daily temperature checks for workers and sending them home if they are sick, wearing face masks on the job, stepped up hand-washing and sanitizing of commonly touched surfaces.
BH Cares - Take the Pledge
Residents (including students!) are encouraged to "Take the Pledge" . The Pledge was created through a partnership between Berkeley Heights Business & Civic and TAPinto Berkeley Heights, along with sponsorship from local businesses. Signing the Pledge shows you care about the safety of our community and that you are doing your part to keep our local businesses open during this pandemic. By "taking the pledge", you agree to:
- wear your face covering around town,
- use social distancing when necessary, and
- wash or sanitize your hands often.
In return for signing the "BH Cares Pledge", local businesses have rallied in an effort to say "Thank You". Each week 5 residents will be randomly selected from the "I signed the Pledge" list to receive some "BH Swag" including gift cards to local restaurants and stores, merchandise, valuable prizes and more.
Students have two ways to get acknowledged:
- Take the Pledge, and/or
- Get "caught in the act" of wearing their face covering - by our very own BHPD. The BHPD has partnered with BH Cares to randomly hand out $10 gift cards each week to local students who are wearing their face coverings while in town or at Snyder Park.
