You are invited to attend our upcoming event, Responding to Bias, New Jersey Steps Up, on Wednesday, November 20th at the STEM Building at Kean University. With the rise of reported bias incidents and updated reporting requirements in New Jersey, session organizers will be focusing attention on Bias Incidents and Crimes as well as how community stakeholders can work together with law enforcement to address bias within our communities. Experts from the NJ Division of Criminal Justice, NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, NJ Bias Crime Officers Association, statewide advocacy organizations, faith leaders and others will be on the agenda to increase our overall awareness. It is free and open to the public.
Open to public: Chaplains/Faith Leaders, Community Advocates, Law Enforcement are all welcome.
