Maintenance & Field Preparation

Passaic River Park is maintained by the Recreation Commission and the field preparation is done by the department of Public Works.

Park Ownership

Passaic River Park is owned by Union County.

General Maintenance

• Fertilization performed early Spring, late Spring, Fall
• Grass cut weekly or as needed
• Portable restroom cleaned weekly
• Seeding performed annually as needed
• Trashcan pick-up 3 times per week
